What it is
API Arena is for practising REST API design. You pick a challenge, build the API, send it as a ZIP, and a sandbox builds it and tests it with real HTTP requests. The public site is in early access.
How it is built
The core runs end to end in Docker. Nine services are active: accounts, challenges, submissions, sandbox, tests, ranking, review, metrics and notifications. Data lives in PostgreSQL and Redis. Kafka moves the pipeline. The front end is React.
What each submission leaves
It is not a list of exercises. Each submission leaves a replay: what was built, what failed, and where it sits on the board.
